  • Ingredients
    114gSCS ® Unsalted Butter (melted)
    180gCaster Sugar
    ½ tspSalt
    ½ tspBaking Soda
    300gSunshine Plain Flour
    100gDark Chocolate Chips
    80gChopped Walnuts (toasted)
    2Eggs (lightly beaten)
  • Directions
    1. Preheat the oven to 180℃.
    2. Combine butter and egg in a small bowl.
    3. In a big bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and sugar.
    4. Add the butter mixture and whisk until combined.
    5. Add in the walnuts and dark chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
    6. Roll balls with teaspoons of the batter, and line them on a sheet pan lined with baking paper.
    7. Bake for about 18 minutes until golden.

Baking Tips

  • Prevent pie dough from sticking

    After crimping the edge of the pie crust, lift the edge of the crust gently all around with your fingers. This keeps the dough from sticking to the dish while baking and makes it easier to take out the pieces of pie.
