Ingredients


  • 2 cups

    Milk (or your choice of milk alternative)

  • 2 tbsp

    SCS Salted Butter

  • 2 tbsp

    Unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp

    Granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp

    Vanilla extract

  • Whipped cream or marshmallows (for topping)

Preparation

  1. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it’s warm but not boiling.
  2. Stir in 2 tablespoons of SCS Salted Butter until melted. This will give your hot chocolate a rich, creamy flavour.
  3. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Buttery Hot Chocolate

  1. Combine: Gradually add the dry mixture to the warm milk, whisking continuously until well combined and smooth.
  2. Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavour.
  3. Serve and enjoy: Pour the hot chocolate into your favorite mug. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.

Tips
