Buttery Sambal

Ingredients


  • 2

    Large potatoes, diced and fried until golden

  • 2 tbsp

    SCS Unsalted Butter

  • 3 cloves

    Garlic, minced

  • 2

    Shallots, minced

  • 3 tbsp

    Sambal (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tsp

    Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp

    Salt (adjust to taste)

  • A handful of fried anchovies (optional, for garnish)

Directions


  1. In a pan, melt SCS Unsalted Butter over medium heat and sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
  2. Add sambal, sugar, and salt, stirring until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Toss in the fried potatoes and mix until evenly coated with the sambal sauce.
  4. Garnish with crispy fried anchovies, if desired, and serve as a side dish or snack.
